The Da Vinci Catamaran is composite built and designed and built by Composite Catamarans, the forerunner of the highly successful Asia Catamarans, Phuket’s premier fast catamaran yacht designers. Designed to be a light fast cruising yacht she proved highly successful as a racing catamaran winning her last 11 races before moving to the holiday charter market.
Her small draft and twin lifting outboards allows her close access to beaches and anchoring in shallow waters which even for other catamarans would be impossible. The Da Vinci Catamaran is designed specifically to be sailed safely even if you are short-handed. Without the drag of propellers she can easily cruise at 10 knots even in a light to moderate breeze with complete stability allowing you to visit more of the delightful small Islands further away from the crowds of Phang Nga Bay and Phi Phi Islands no matter how short your charter is.
The cockpit is a fully shaded area to escape the heat of the sun whilst enjoying the gentle breeze and has wrap around seating for up to twelve people, the saloon and cabins are very light with good airflow in all cabins that is improved by fans throughout. The saloon dining table can be moved to the cockpit area very easily should you wish to dine outdoors rather than in the saloon.
The Da Vinci Catamaran is available either bare boat, fully crewed with a Captain and Chef/Stewardess or Captain only. The Chef would be only too happy to let you watch her cook delicious Thai food, if you ask she will also teach anyone interested how to prepare the meals as well. The Chef is also very capable of cooking Western cuisines as well as whatever you have caught fresh from the ocean that very day.
