Top of the Gulf Regatta

Top of the Gulf Regatta is held in 2020 from the May1st  – 6th May and is in its 16th year. Held in the waters of the Gulf of Thailand with the headquarters at the Ocean Marina Yacht Club Pattaya. Participating monohulls and multihulls are provided free berthing in the marina for the duration of the regatta, giving all sailors and boat owners peace of mind and convenience which allows everyone to enjoy four days of exciting and competitive racing and the onshore camaraderie and social events each evening.

To encourage boats of all sizes and sailors of all abilities to enjoy racing in the Gulf of Thailand, the 2020 Top of the Gulf Regatta includes up to 12 classes, including keelboats, multihulls, one-design Platu’s that compete for the Coronation Cup, beach catamarans, dinghies, Optimists (competing for the Thailand Optimist National Championships), and an IOM Class RC Yachts.

Dinghy classes and the IOM Class RC Yachts will compete on three separate inshore courses, and all have their own independent race management.

As well as yachts already based in Pattaya all our race yachts can be delivered from Phuket for this event.

The city of Pattaya is about 1 hours’ drive from Bangkok and the International airports and away from the regatta evening events Pattaya is renowned as a real party town. Keep a close eye on your crew, they may go missing!
